Wow. This one took 4-5 hours and I learned a heck of a lot about my brushes by doing it.
These studies are proving to be really useful!

Fantastic! The way you paint ponies is so unique, I particularly like this one's face. A looot of texture goin' on in the brush strokes, I love it. The whole thing's really pretty -- yer makin' me want to do pieces with, like, composition and background now, hahah. Bravo! :D

Yeah I don't do backgrounds too often, but Dermot Power has such an awesome style, I just HAD to.
Hey, I thank YOU for making me want to do MTG emulations and such.

sweet, that spell is such a lifesaver in edh, is it not? albeit, countering the first opponents spell, then timestopping the other opponent doesnt really make you very popular on the table...

Haha it's so true. A lot of times Rewind will be the first counterspell I consider cutting because it costs 4 mana and doesn't draw cards, but I really like being able to deal with one opponent and having mana available to deal with another if need be.

yeah carddraw really is such an important issue in edh, perhaps my prime reason I go for consecrated sphinx as early as possible. that creature is such a huge hatemagnet in multiplayer, its unbelievable.

Oh my god that is the truth.
The two top-tier creatures in EDH are Consecrated Sphinx and Primeval Titan.
They both give such a huge advantage that it is ridiculous.

I couldnt agree more. we played 4 ppl free for all yesterday and somehow, everyone was able to get his primeval out, like within turn 4, which lead to one of my friends sayin: "guys, maybe we should do something, anything about primeval in our game group..."

Heck yeah, awesome job.

Do you know what's my favorite part? It's actually the background! I love how you minimally rendered it, with so few shapes and strokes!
